Daddy's Backhoe Buddy's

Ryan had the backhoe home last week due to the remodeling project. We thought the kids might like it so we let them sit in it with him and ride around the yard. Kelli was petrified the minute Ry started it up and they moved!

Riley was finally convinced to sit in it, but didn't like the load noise! He kept his ears covered!

Riley was the brave one and rode all the way back to the shop with Ryan. He only kept is ears covered until the end of our road and then wanted to help drive! 

And we couldn't convince Clayton to even sit in it!



Tulip Time 2012

We ventured downtown with the trio for supper and to watch dutch dancing. They loved the corn dogs!

We bought a bag of cotton candy, but they didn't show too much interest. Pretty surprised by that because they LOVE candy! :) 

My mom and I took the kids to the Saturday parade. We got a little wet, but it was so worth it! They all loved it, especially Clayton!



gOaTs...

we live about a mile down the road from a small city farm that has 3 goats! the kids are obsessed with them. every time we drive by they start yelling for the GOATS and we always need to check if they are out, in the barn, or sleeping. they love taking choo choo rides to see them.

they were patiently waiting for them to come out the other day. oh and kelli put her own outfit together... brown and pink leggings with the boys march of dimes shirt!

kelli was more interested in picking "flowers" than feeding them!

 the boys loved feeding grass and weeds to the goats through the fence...

27 months

my babes are 27 months and this is what we've been up to...

love to play outside. clayton typically asks at 8 in the morning to go outside!

they once again love the swings. riley was really hesitant at first. it took him a few days to warm up to them again. they love underdogs... the higher the better!

kelli is a little stinker! she can be very demanding and bossy. her big thing lately is telling everyone "no" in a very stern and serious voice!

clayton loves to be outside! he's so happy in the fresh air!

 the trio watching daddy start our new addition. we are transforming our back porch into a new bathroom and mudroom! :)



the trio continues to be a busy age, but they are so much fun! they are really starting to talk more! riley typically repeats everything we say. they are so observant of everything and want to do whatever we are doing. they still get into everything... this past week i found clayton in the living room smearing peanut butter over my end tables and the next day we had an entire box of fettuccine noodles broken into hundreds of pieces in the carpet! these kiddos keep me crazy busy, but i wouldn't want it any other way!
