Hudsonville Fair

My mom and I took the kids to the fair Tuesday morning/afternoon. We started in the animal barns. I thought that the triplets would love the animals; they love looking at pictures of animals and know all the sounds and names. It took them a little while to warm up. All three of them get very quiet and reserved in a large place with lots of people and numerous things going on!

They loved the "baby goats!"

After some lunch we headed over to the rides. Again they were pretty hesitant. They sat in the train car until they realized I was leaving, so of course I had to ride along! 

The boys thought the race cars looked pretty cool. I should have watched them before I put them on. They were crazy fast around the corners! After one turn they had their hands over their ears and wanted out! The lady running the ride was kind enough to stop it for us!

All in all, we had a GREAT day!



oh summer, how we love you!

We've only waited all summer to play in the sprinklers. I guess it's only fun when it starts to get chilly at night!

Last night they asked to just touch the water... well, that turned into way too much fun!

Nothing like playing with hose water on a cool August night! We asked Riley if he wanted to go in and he would say, "NO, shivers".

My babes are 2 1/2... can't believe it! It seems like it was just yesterday when I was sitting in the hospital on bed rest hoping and praying for many more weeks before they would be born. They are just so much fun and bring so much joy and happiness to Ryan and I.

New Swingset

A few weeks ago we purchased a swingset for the kiddos. They are in love! We've had lots of fun placing the pool in the backyard and making a water slide!

Enjoying this summer days... fall will be here before we know it!

It took Kelli a few tries, but she loves the water slide!

Splashing in the pool! Kayli's grandparents and my parents have been good friends for many years. We are also good friends with their son and his family! So fun that ours kids are only 7 months apart!

Kayli is potty trained and there was a little "potty" outside and my kids just didn't know what to do when they saw her go! They seriously just stared!! AND we are not ready to be trained yet! :)
