Florida ~ Fort Myers Beach

So, this is what the rest of our week looked like…pretty much consisted of pool time and beach!

Just getting a few groceries at Publix…

LOVING the beach, just like their mom!

These chairs were the highlight of the week while we were inside. They were motorized recliners…they played Dentist everyday! 

So so tired after a few days of swimming! 4:30pm naps. 

Clayton got swimmers ear after a few days of being there. Some ear drops and ear plugs got him back in the pool! 

She was so excited about popcorn shrimp!

Florida ~ Fort Myers Beach

Our family Chirstmas this year was a trip to Florida. We left Christmas Eve, drove through the night and arrived at Fort Myers Christmas Day around 6:30 pm. The kids were rockstars traveling. They never complained once!! 

Days 1,2,& 3

Our first sunset of the week…going over the bridge to the island upon arrival. 

Ready to head out for some supper. 

We stayed at Grandpa and Grandma Genzink's condo and one of their friends was gracious to take us for a boat ride one of the first days we were there. He took us out for about 3 hours, we went around the island and even saw dolphins! One even did a dance for us! It was absolutely perfect!

Loving the pool. Our days consisted of a morning walk on the beach after breakfast and then it was pool time. Most days we were there from 10 am to 5/6 pm. 

 Our first morning…after this walk we learned to put suits on. Not sure what I was thinking with clothes at the beach!

They loved collecting shells and seeing the tide out. They called it the sandbar.

This wraps up our December…

Getting groceries with the kiddos…I sure enjoy my time alone at the grocery store these days!
