September Beach Day

Last week my mom and I took the kiddos to the beach. We have been wanting to do this all summer, but it just never happened! It was a PERFECT day and the trio LOVED it! We started our day by taking a few pictures, went down by the water, came back to eat lunch, and ended up swimming and building castles. They loved everything about it... running down the hills, the sand, the 6 huge kites, waves, & just having fun!

A huge thanks to my mom for playing with us such and having such a fun day!

{twenty-nine years}

Twenty-nine years ago my sister, Kelli Marie, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus! We've always talked about Kelli as I was growing up and have so often thought what it would be like to have a sister. I think that we would have had sooo much fun!  Even though I have never met her I miss her like crazy, and can't wait for the day when we will be sisters forever.

Before Ryan and I got pregnant we both decided that we would name our first daugher, Kelli. AND we wouldn't trade our Kelli for anything... LOVE her so much!

Labor Day

We started our day by heading to the truck parade downtown Holland. The kids loved it!

Our next stop was at my parents house for our last swim of the summer!

We ended the day by eating supper at The Butler in Saugatuck and showing the kids the big boats!

We had a great day saying 'goodbye' to August! We started out at the pool, went home and took naps, then out for icecream with daddy at night!

Kelli thought it was a little chilly that day, so she sat and played with the watering cans and toys out of the pool.

We had a new house built behind us this summer. It's been so entertaining having some big equipment to watch! They loved the loader!!
